Meet Kay
Kay Guetzloff resides in Peoria, AZ and is an
instructor for Jumping Cholla Agility Club in
Phoenix.
Kay has been involved in the sport of
dogs since 1966. She is the trainer of
nine Obedience Trial Champions, one
of which was the top winning dog in
the USA in 1985. Kay has trained and successfully
competed in obedience with dogs out of all 7
AKC breed groups providing her with extensive
experience with different breeds of dogs. This
is helpful when it comes to dealing with the myriad
temperaments found in the agility ring.
In 1997 Kay began competing in agility and has
earned 9 Master Agility Championship titles on three
of her dogs. She competes in both AKC and USDAA
agility competitions.
Currently she is running a
red border collie, Torch in agility and
occasionally runs her MACH-6 OTCH
Aussie Cider who is 10 years old. Cider
is the only Aussie to attain a MACH-6
and an Obedience Trial Championship.
