VVDAC Therapy Dog Program
VVDAC Therapy Dog Program

History of VVPFAC. When Covid hit and everything shut down, those of us with Therapy Pets Unlimited were not able to visit. When things opened up again, TPU decided to call it quits, so we were left without a therapy organization in this area. Pat Seybold had helped form a local therapy organization in Kentucky, so knew how to start the process.
We are a non-profit, Arizona corporation and have a Board of Directors. We received our non-profit status and corporation status in November of 2022. We have the same standards and insurance as any of the national therapy organizations, but are locally based and the Board makes the decisions regarding any organization matters.
We are NOT affiliated with the Verde Valley Dog Agility Club.
We currently have 25 certified teams who are going out to visit in the communities of Sedona, Village of Oak Creek, Camp Verde, and Cottonwood.
Paws for a Cause celebrated its one year anniversary November 2023.
