Membership...
Membership is due January 1st. Click on the PDF file below for the NEW MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION application.
Just a little explanation about our increase in membership dues. In order for the club to continue operating, we need to generate more income to offset our yearly expenses. We haven’t raised our fees in years and found it necessary now. Membership dues along with our other sources of income will help the club continue to exist. The new dues go into effect May 1st for all new people who will be joining. If you have paid your dues for this year, you are good until next January. We have a great club and want it to continue.

VVDAC FIELD RULES & GUIDELINES
1. No one may use the agility or obedience fields unless they are a club member, have signed a waiver, and have been authorized by a board member or trainer. SAFETY is the # 1 priority.
2. All dog poop must be picked up and appropriately disposed of. Peeing in the ring is discouraged. Dogs should be pottied prior to entering the ring.
3. All contact equipment should be left at regulation heights. If you lower the A-frame, teeter, or dog walk, you must return it to the regular height when you are done. Also, put the A-Frame back up on it’s wheels.
4. If a course or exercise has been set and there is indication that it should be left up, you may modify sections to set up training exercises for your dog, but then you must return the course as it had been originally set.
5. The rings are open to all members to practice. If others are using the training rings, you must either wait until they have finished or until you are invited to join them. Members who wish to practice, have priority over dogs that are loose and playing in the rings.
6. Do not allow your dog to dig holes or play with equipment or training aids.
7. If setting up training aids such as gates, hoops, or targets, return them to the section of the field where they are usually stored.
8. Children and non participating adults are not allowed on the equipment.
9. Members taking classes should be prepared to arrive early to set up the class exercise or course, and should be prepared to assist with storing equipment after class has concluded.
10. All broken or damaged equipment should be reported to the training director as soon as it is noticed, so that repair or replacement can be arranged. Please remember that a lot of the equipment is on loan from other people, so be respectful to all and treat it as if it were your own.
11. Make sure the gates to the rings are closed upon leaving the field.
12. All people using the field must wear appropriate shoes.
13. Be considerate of the Jochim's, other members and neighbors by keeping your dogs from barking too much.
14. NO SMOKING anywhere on the VVDAC grounds.
