What is Happening in Scent Work in Verde Valley?
Nosework is one of the fastest and most popular dog sports today where dogs search for essential oil scent similar to drug or bomb detection dogs. The most amazing thing about this sport is how confident dogs become after learning and doing nosework! As you can see from the pictures above, the dogs really enjoy this teamwork with their handler.
There are different Nosework organizations and more developing or moving into new areas. The 2 most popular locally are AKC and NACSW.
